About ten years ago I received a sign from the fae telling me that I should plant a faerie garden in a particular section of our backyard. (What that sign was and how I received it is a story for another time.)

The area of yard in question had been an eyesore for nearly twenty years. It consisted of hard clay soil that had defied all efforts at improvement. The only thing that would grow there was sickly Bermuda grass.

Naturally, none of this made any difference to the fae.
I, however, had my doubts. A faerie garden in the brown zone? It defied all logic.

Of course human logic means nothing in the other realm. And as I am continually learning, when I trust the fae and open myself to their magic, anything is possible, even miracles.

And that is exactly what happened: a miracle. So, whether you are a joyful believer, or a hardened skeptic, please take a stroll through the garden. Let the sights and sounds wash over you and heal you, for life is teeming here in every leaf, every bud, every creature great and small. Enter and find peace.
