The Labyrinth
Next to the garden is the labyrinth. Outlined in straw, the labyrinth is about 43 feet in diameter. Depending on the length of a person’s stride, it takes from 380 to 420 steps to make the journey to the center and back again.

The garden and the labyrinth are counterpoised. Together they create balance. The garden is air and water and life. It is Light in ever sense of the word.  The labyrinth is earth, rock, and the deepest of roots.  It vibrates with the sacred song of the Ancients who stand tall in the old-growth forest.

To dance through the labyrinth by the light of the full moon and see the shimmering auras rise from the plants in the garden is to know that there is wonder and magic all around us every moment, every heartbeat, every breath.
